Created in 1985 by Texas Constitution art. VII, §§ 11, 11a, 13, 18 and Education Code §§ 66.02, 66.03 to receive the share allotted to Prairie View A&M University of the income from investments of the Permanent University Fund (0045) to be used for permanent improvements, new construction, equipment, repairs, physical plant operation and maintenance, and educational and general activities of Prairie View A&M University. No longer utilized, inactivated in 2002.
