Created in 1965 in TEX. REV. CIV. STAT. ANN. art. 4477-5 sec. 2.12 to receive money for purposes of the "Clean Air Act of Texas." Used for salaries, professional fees, travel expenses, equipment, other needed expenses. Exempt from loss of dedication (§ 403.094, Government Code) by H.B. 3050, 74th Leg., R.S. Recodified to Health and Safety Code § 381 by H.B. 2136, 71st Leg., R.S. S.B. 2, 72nd Leg., 1st C.S. repealed § 381. Agency name change per H.B. 2912, 77th Leg., R.S.
