Created in 1993 by TEX. CONST. art. III, § 49-b-1; TEX. NAT. RES. CODE ANN. §§ 162.002, 162.050 to receive interest in all home mortgage loans made to veterans including insurance; money attributable to bonds issued and sold the board; income, rents and other pecuniary benefits received as a result of making the loans; sums received by way of indemnity or forfeiture; investment interest; any equitable interest in properties encumbered under the program. Funds may be used only for administration of the Veteran's Housing Assistance Program.
