Created in 1993 by TEX. CONST. art. III, § 49-b-1; TEX. NAT. RES. CODE ANN. § 161.171 to receive deposit of receipts from sale of bonds. Such receipts may be expended for payment of bond issue, delivery and debt service costs for purchase of land for resale to qualified veterans, for payment of land development costs and for purchase of bonds or obligations or United States Government.  Land purchase authority expires eight years from the sale date of bonds.
