Created in 1994 by TEX. CONST. art. III § 49-b-1; TEX. NAT. RES. CODE ANN. §§ 162.002, 162.050; TEX. REV. CIV. STAT. ANN. arts. 717k, 717q to refund a portion of Series 1984A Bonds and Series 1993 Bonds and to administer the Veteran's Housing Assistance Fund II program. To receive any interest in all home mortgage and home improvement loans made to veterans including insurance and proceeds of sale; the money attributable to any bonds issued and sold by the board, including payments under a bond enhancement agreement; rents and other pecuniary benefits received as a result of making the loans; sums received by way of indemnity or forfeiture; interest from investments; any equitable interest in properties encumbered under the program.
