Purpose
For funding expenses and cost of equipment, materials, and cleanup activities related to discharge or spills of hazardous substances into surface waters of the state. Account consists of money appropriated by the legislature and any fines, civil penalties or other reimbursement provided under the terms of S.B. 17, 64th Leg., R.S. Balance shall not exceed $5 million, exclusive of fines and penalties.
