Purpose

Created as a fund outside of the treasury, held in trust by the comptroller. Consists of money received from the leasing of oil and gas under lands owned by the state that were or may be acquired by a county to construct a county road. Money is to be disbursed twice a year to the appropriate county for road maintenance purposes.
