Purpose
Created as a dedicated trust fund outside of the state treasury in the custody of the comptroller from unemployment obligation assessments and surplus revenue transferred from the compensation fund under § 204.065, Labor Code. This fund is established in the Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) to facilitate processing and reporting of revenues and expenditures through USAS from obligation assessments. Payments will be made without appropriation to pay bond obligations and bond administrative expenses and principal and interest on advances from the federal trust fund.
