Created in 1991 by S.B. 1031, 75th Leg., R.S. in TEX. GOV'T CODE ANN. § 443.0151. The capitol fund was established as a trust held outside the treasury in the local Capitol fund or with Texas Safekeeping Trust for debt service on bonds. This fund is established with the treasury in the Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) to facilitate processing and reporting of certain expenditures, including payroll, through USAS from revenues collected from visitor parking facilities. Administered by State Preservation Board, Agency 809. Fund closed and combined with Capitol Trust Local Operating Fund (No. 0879), eff. 9-1-11.
