1. To provide information on person's date of birth, current license status, most recent address, reported traffic law convictions and motor vehicle collisions (by date/location) occurring within immediate past 3 years: $6 fee per request.
2. To provide above information in quantities of 100 or more, on acceptable data processing forms, the fee may be reduced to $5.
3. To provide information to individual licensee pertaining to person's birth date, current license status, most recent address, completion of approved driver education course and listing of reported traffic violations and motor vehicle collisions (by date/location); $7 fee per request.
4. Listing of person's birth date, current license status and most recent address; $4.
5. Each request of information certified by the custodian of records; $10.
6. Fee for use of an interactive system: Status check is $2.50, 3 year driving record is $4.50 and fees for file check requests under National Driver Register is $4.
7. For purchase of a record of names, addresses and dates of birth of all license holders contained in the department's file, $2,000 for each record and $75 for each weekly update.
8. As an alternative to presenting a defendant's record to the court, the judge may require the defendant to pay a $10 reimbursement fee for a copy of the driving record.
9. Certified abstract of a complete driving record is $20.

H.B. 3588, 78th Leg., R.S. made a statutory change moving the deposit of these fees from GR to the Texas Mobility Fund (0365). However, the bill required fees for FY04 remain deposited to GR. H.B. 2, 78th Leg., 3rd C.S. continued the deposit for FY 2004 and 2005. S.B. 1863, 79th Leg., R.S. continued the deposit for FY 2006 and 2007 only, with an expiration date of 01/01/2008.
