The department shall establish license application and license renewal fees. The department may establish other reasonable and necessary fees in amounts that are adequate, with the license application and license renewal fees, to collect sufficient revenue to meet the expenses necessary to administer Chapter 248. The fees may include construction plan review and inspection fees. All fees collected under Chapter 248 are nonrefundable.
Civil penalties not to exceed $1,000 per day may be assessed (collected under revenue object 3717). Administrative penalties may also be imposed (collected under revenue object 3770).
