A specialty license may be issued to a portable electronic devices vendor for a fee up to $5,000 to cover administration. A licensed vendor may act as an agent for an authorized insurer to offer coverage on portable electronic devices.
Application and fee due before operating as agent; renewal 2 years from date of issue; fee due at time of application. Department may adopt staggered renewal system.
