Created in 1949 by the 51st Leg. in TEX. NAT. RES. CODE ANN. § 34.055. Additional fee paid by all holders of permits to survey tidewater areas at a rate set by the General Land Office to defray expenses in supervising/inspecting the surveying operations. Deposited to General Revenue Fund (No. 0001) (formerly to the Land Office Permit Fee Fund Account (No. 0080), abolished 8-31-95 per § 403.094, Government Code). No longer used and inactivated at GLO's (305) request, eff. June 2011.
