Description


Hospital may negotiate and enter into agreements with other hospitals in the state if benefits outweigh disadvantages to reduction in competition.

  1. Parties to a cooperative agreement may apply for certification of public advantage by filing application and fee up to $10,000 per application.
  2. Up to $75,000 application fee for a certificate of public advantage governing a merger. An annual supervision fee up to $75,000 may be assessed on each hospital operating under a merger certificate, not to exceed $200,000 per hospital.
