Notes

H.B. 1704, 79th Leg., R.S. established a $4 court cost to be deposited to new Jury Service Fund. However, the fee deposit nor the funds was exempted by the funds consolidation bill of that session (S.B. 1605). Therefore, the fee was deposited to General Revenue Fund 0001.

Effective 01/01/2020, S.B. 346, 86th Leg., R.S. added percentage of court costs under Local Government Code sec. 133.102 and repealed previous $4 court cost. S.B. 346 was exempted by the funds consolidation bill (H.B. 3317).
