A fee of 10 cents charged a defendant convicted of a moving violation.
Upon conviction at the same time as other fines and court costs.
County or municipality may retain 10% of collections.
Original dedication was to new account for a civil justice data repository, however dedication not exempted in H.B. 4583, the funds consolidation bill.
S.B. 346, 86th Leg., R.S. repealed fee effective 01/01/2020.
