Description


Not later than August 31 of each fiscal year, each institution of higher education having an unobligated, unexpended balance in its local student deposit fund exceeding 150% of total deposits to that fund during the year, shall remit the excess to the Higher Education Coordinating Board for equitable allocations to institutions with no excess. Funds are only to be used to make scholarship awards.
