Description

Licenses are required to conduct legalized bingo games for charitable purposes, or to permit a commercial lessor to lease premises for bingo by an authorized organization for a specified time period. The fees for these licenses are set by the Commission in an amount reasonable to defray administrative costs, but cannot be less than the minimum amounts listed below.

License to conduct bingo (2001.104) fees are annual. Applicant may obtain a 2-year license by paying twice the annual fee.

A temporary license valid for 4 hours of 1 day may be obtained for $25. Each location must be separately licensed. License amendments may be obtained for a fee set by the commission. 

Late license renewal fees are: not later than the 14th date after expiration - annual fee plus late fee equal to 10% of annual fee; not later than 60th day after expiration - annual fee for each 14 day period; after 60th day must file for original license.

The commission may charge a fee for a bingo worker's application or renewal on the bingo worker registry.

Certain license fees may be refunded, minus the commission's administrative costs.

Administrative penalty, up to $1,000, may be charged for each violation (collected under Revenue Object 3770).
