Description


A person who violates a provision of the Manufactured Housing Act or rules and regulations of the department may be assessed an administrative penalty up to $10,000.

The department may assess a penalty against a licensee who fails to provide required information to a consumer. These penalties may not exceed:

  • $1,000 for the first violation;
  • $2,000 for the second violation; and
  • $4,000 for each subsequent violation.
