Created 1993 by H.B. 653, 73rd Leg., R.S. under Utilities Code 57.022. The PUC shall require a dominant telecommunications carrier to file a tariff (rate schedule) with reduced rates for distance learning activity conducted by an educational institution or library in this state. Amended by S.B. 1751, 75th Leg., R.S. Created in error as no state revenue stream was established in Chapter 57. Inactivated in fiscal 2014 due to non-use.
