Description
Surcharge on fees imposed by the commission required to be deposited to GR Account Oil and Gas Regulation and Cleanup (5155). Collected in amounts sufficient to enable the commission to recover the costs of oil and gas monitoring and inspections, remediation, well plugging, public information and administrative costs.
The surcharge is set by commission rule and not exceed an amount equal to 185% of the fee on which it is imposed.
The commission may not impose a surcharge on Oil-field Cleanup Regulatory Fee on Oil (revenue object 3381) and Oil-Field Cleanup Regulatory Fee on Gas (3383).
