Created September 1, 1989 by H.B. 1546, 71st Leg., R.S. under Water Code sec. 26.177(e). A city's water pollution control and abatement program must be submitted to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for review and approval. The commission shall adopt and assess reasonable and necessary fees to recover the costs of administering this program. Agency name changed from Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission per H.B. 2912, 77th Leg., R.S. Revenue code inactivated due to non-use and reclassification under 3727 - Fees for Administrative Services.
