Description
Receipts are generated from the seizure and sale of illegally taken or held pelts, marine life, unregistered vessels and aircraft, vehicles, firearms or other devices used to commit a violation under subchapter G, ch. 43 of this code or a commission regulation.
The department may sell confiscated items and credit the proceeds to the appropriate suspense fund pending outcome of any action. If person is found guilty, placed on deferred adjudication, or fails to appear, the department shall transfer the proceeds to the credit of GR account 0009.
