Created in June 11, 1997 by H.B. 2389, 75th Leg., R.S. under TEX. HEALTH & SAFETY CODE ANN. § 12.0122(d). The Health Department may contract with a federal, state or local government or a freestanding public health clinic owned or controlled by a nonprofit organization for the sale and provision of laboratory services. The department may establish charges for the sale of these services. Inactivated September 1, 2004 for non-use.
