An inmate confined in a facility other than a halfway house, who initiates a visit to a health care provider, shall pay a health care service fee of $13.55 per visit (total fees not to exceed $100 per year) to TDCJ from the inmate's trust fund. If the balance in the trust fund is insufficient, 50% of each deposit shall be applied toward the balance owed until the total is paid.
