Created in the state treasury and administered by the Texas Water Development Board. The fund consists of transfers, appropriations and interest earnings.
No more than 2% of the money deposited to 0484 - Texas Water Fund in each state fiscal year may be transferred to 0309 - Texas Water Fund Administrative Fund.
Used to make payments or reimbursements to cover necessary and reasonable expenses of the board in administering the Texas Water Fund. Funds may be used for staffing, professional services, and consulting services, as well as for any other purpose in which money is appropriated by the legislature from the administrative fund.
