To be funded by direct Legislature appropriation and by transfers by the board from the Water Assistance Fund (0480). The board may use the fund for projects including the design, acquisition, lease, construction, reconstruction, development, or enlargement in whole or part of any existing or proposed water storage project. In addition, the board may, at its discretion contract with a political subdivision to pay the principal of or interest on or both on bonds or other obligations issued by a political subdivision.
