Created in TEX. WATER CODE ANN. § 15.951 in 2001 by S.B. 2 and H.B. 3088, 77th Leg., R.S. to provide low-interest loans to rural political subdivisions for water or water-related projects, to enable subdivisions to obtain water supplied by larger political subdivisions, to finance an outreach and technical assistance program, to buy down interest rates on loans and as a source of revenue for payment of water financial assistance bonds. Recreated as the Rural Water Infrastructure Fund (0301) outside of GR by H.B. 1875, 78th Leg., R.S., effective 9-1-03.
