Description

  1. The commission by rule may adopt an inspection fee assessed against operators of natural gas distribution pipelines and natural gas master metered pipelines and their pipeline facilities. Total fees may not exceed the amount estimated by the commission to be necessary to recover costs of administration.
  2. A fee up to $1 for each service line may be assessed on each investor-owned and municipally owned natural gas distribution system.
  3. A fee up to $100 may be assessed on each operator of a natural gas master metered system.
  4. Late penalties of 10% of the total assessment due under (2) and (3) that are not paid within 30 days after the annual due date may also be assessed.
  5. Pipeline safety and regulatory fees for all pipelines under the jurisdiction of the commission's pipeline safety and regulatory program. Fees are for new permits or registrations, permit or registration renewals, and permit or registration amendments.
