Created September 1, 1999 by H.B. 3216, 76th Leg., R.S. under TEX. OCC. CODE ANN. § 162.161. The Texas State Board of Medical Examiners shall develop standardized forms and guidelines and administer a standardized credentials verification program, and may charge and collect fees in amounts necessary to cover the cost of operation and administration. Inactivated in 2008 due to non-utilization.
